We operate Sorse Gallery with the following core values and look to work with creatives who are aligned with these qualities.
Connection, Collaboration, Communication – We look to work with creatives who are open to establishing a working connection with our team to foster collaboration and communication of ideas during exhibition development. We also look forward to promoting and supporting creative endeavours beyond Sorse Gallery for our exhibiting creatives.
Opportunity – Our current model provides opportunity for creatives to exhibit a range of artistic outcomes within an ever-growing creative district of Naarm/Melbourne inner north. We provide opportunities for commercial and experimental creative proposals, as well as open applications for community focused exhibitions with a focus on under-represented artists.
Diversity / Inclusion – Our exhibition program looks to showcase diverse outcomes across both emerging and established creatives, as well as varied artistic mediums and perspectives. We encourage applications from all creatives, including curators, who wish to exhibit a body of work and tell their story. We are a queer-friendly, anti-hate and a pet-loving space.
